Access Denied

I have had a WD external hard (My Book 1T) for a number of years. I use to back up files from my work computer. I brought it home to get documents off of it and it is telling me access is denied. How can I correct this issue? Thanks in advance for the support.

This is the simple case of admin rights. Your home PC don’t have the ownership on the drive as it is for office work. In order to use it, you need to change the ownership setting of the drive by going to its properties.
