8TB G-Raid Thunderbolt 3 won't mount to Macbook Pro 2012

It just arrived. Powered up the new G-Raid 8TB Thunderbolt 3 and plugged it into my Macbook Pro Retina circa 2012 … and no go.

I’ve tried both USB direct, and Thunderbolt 2 cable with Thunderbolt 3 adapter. Neither work.

G is spinning with a nice white G is bright on its bow, but nothing in the finder.

I loaded the G-Raid Thunderbolt Configurator app - but it can’t find the drive either.

ALSO - BTW - No user manual to be found anywhere online.

Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Which version of the Mac OS are you on? In order to use a TB3 device even with an adapter you need to be on Sierra.

Does the drive show up in the Disk Utility?

I’m running Yosemite 10.10.5.

I’ll update.

Thanks
