G-RAID Thunderbolt 2 connection the iMac with Thunderbolt 3

Can anyone tell if I can adapt my G-RAID Thunderbolt 2 to my new iMac with Thunderbolt 3?

Yes you can, just get the Apple TB2 to 3 adapter.

Thank you. I knew they had an adaptor, I was wanting to make sure I would get the full capabilities of the G-RAID after connecting it.

Heya - I’ve got a TB2 G-RAID that won’t mount or appear in the disk utility on my iMac with TB3, using a TB2-3 adapter. But it will mount using USB3. It mounts on another Macbookpro with TB2 as well. Any thoughts how I can connect it to the iMac?

The Apple adaptor worked for me after I reformatted the G-RAID. After talking with a G-Technology tech, and he assured me it would work after reformatting, I gulped, then bit the cookie and followed his recommendation—and it worked.

As long as it is an externally powered device then the adapters should work in just about every case. How old is your iMac? Are you sure it has TB2 connections on it?
