Help with "FTP with Passive Mode"

I have a question/issue related to this post

I have setup everything as advised in the post;

However facing an issue, everynow and then i can’t establish the FTP connection;

actually I have a dynamic WAN IP address which is linked to a Dynamic DNS service xxx.ddns.net … while using FileZilla client, i could see that whenver the ddns shows an old IP address, obviously it doesnt connect properly. in reality, dns already holds the latest IP address. To fix it, what I do is to login into WD dashboard, turn off FTP service and then turn ON … and then the FTP starts working again.

It is quite annoying really, kindly help me to fix it.

Hi sominaik, this type of configuration is not supported but maybe some of the other users can share some advice.
