Wireless(n) Transfer Speed Question

Hello Guys and Gals… this is my very first post, and my very first Western Digital Product, so far so good, managed to load video and music on to the hub via Ethernet…However I seem to have a problem with the speeds using Wifi.

The Modem is a Netgear DGN2000, the adaptor is a D-Link Wireless N Nano USB DWA-131, and the PC connected via ethernet is Win7. 

Transfer speed is 1.45mb/s, stable. Is there some settings that need tweaking here?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, I’d say it’s a bit slow. Just for testing, do you get the same speed over a wired connection?

I’m on a different router but I’m getting exactly the same speed as you so I’m curious to see what the fix is. :slight_smile:
