Windows7 dont show the shares on My Book Live

I’ve just received a My Book Live. It functions all right from Windows XP, but on a notebook with windows 7 on the local network, it doesn’t. WD Link shows the device, but when I select it, the Drive Map remains empty.

I’ve tried to connect a network drive to a share (\NAS-name\user-name), where the user-name is the same as the login-user on the computer. It won’t find the drive.

I’ve also tried to connect directly in explorer by “\NAS-name\user-name”  or “\ip-address\share” or just “\ip-address”  with no result.

I can easily connect to the http-address: http://ip-address/UI/login, so I can setup the drive, but I cannot use it.

Any suggestions what can be done?

Make sure you have all latest updates for Windows 7, and also that there is no a firewall or security software that might be interfering.
