What's happening with Plex after Januari 15?

I’ve a MyCloudMirror running Plex server with a lot of music on it. I use the Plex desktop app on my iMac a work to listen to my albums. What’s happening with Plex server after Januari 15? Can I still use it a work, or drop all connections over the internet?
