If I buy the 8GB version does that come with 1x8GB drive or 4x2GB drives?

What model WD drives are included? Are these Red, Red Pro, or another model?
Probably WD Red drives, the Red Pro drives are for NAS boxes with 8 or more bays.
I actually purchased the 8TB model of the PR4100 and received 4x 2TB RED (WD20EFRX)
Same here, looks like Timothy was wrong unfortunately. It’s going to make upgrading a bit awkward.
Seems like it could be an easy solution. Two ideas:
I have a DL2100, and there is another larger model, the DL4100 that cam with two 4TB drive and two open slots. Suggets you contact WD Store and find out what your choices are.
Second suggestion: buy the empty PR4100 box and order and install. your say, two, 4TB Red drives to get the 8TB, and then later order two more 4TBs when you want to expand.
Both of those solutions are predicated on me not having bought the PR4100, which I have done.
