WDTV Live Streaming or Hub Player?

I’m thinking of upgrading my Live and Plus units to the new versions.  Should I go Live Streaming or Live Hub? And why?

I ask since I read preveiously that aside from the 1 TB drive there are other differences between the two players.  I want to know why one is better than the other.

Note:  I do not need the 1 TB space on the Hub.  And do not intend to use that drive, only the player.

I mainly use my players for Pandora, Streaming VOB files (with DVD menu support) and Netflix.

Based on users reviews I would go for the Hub.

I would say that as you don’t need a hard drive then I would go for the Live Streaming player. Its the latest player and therefore more likely to be supported for longer.

Don’t buy the hub if you don’t need the storage, it’s a waste of money. The smp is the newer version anyway.

Thanks for the input.  But, other than the hardware differences.  What are the diffs between the firmwares on Hub vs. SMP?  I can’t figure out why WD maintains two versions.  And why some owners report the Hub to have more stable firmware.
