I’m hoping for some help please?
I use the WDTV Live streamer to stream movies to my TV - via an external hard drive connect to the streamer.
I am having issues with audio, streamer connected to Sonos Playbar - I’m slighly confused which audio format should produce Dolby 5.1.
The streamer works great when the movies I have on the HDD drive are AC3 coded, however when I stream movies that have AAC audio codec - the output I get is stereo only - I am doing something wrong in WDTV audio settings menu?
Do you know which audio format should produce DD 5.1?
Optical cable from streamer to playbar.
Are AAC formats not actually 5.1 sourround sound.
