WD40EFPX labeled WD40EFBX?

I purchased 4TB WD Red Plus WD40EFPX, but CrystalDiskInfo shows the disk as WD40EFBX, even though the label on the product says WD40EFPX. Is it possible that it is a disk with different specifications than the WD40EFPX or a fake? I couldn’t find any information about the WD40EFBX model on the Internet. If I’m not mistaken, 12TB 7200 models have the code name BX instead of PX.

It appears to be a bad fake.

Your drive’s serial number (on the label) belongs to a WD40PURZ-85AKKY0 with an expired warranty.

The R/N number on your label is 800006. This should reflect the number on the PCB, namely 2060-800006. However, you will probably find 2060-810011, which is the number for a WD40PURZ-85AKKY0.

Even looks like a fake. Note how the printing near the bottom overlaps the red.

Where did you buy it?

Turkey

The label and the model suggest a counterfeit suggesting I would not trust it all

The WD Red and WD Purple are both safe for 24 hour operation but this label is suspicious

I can buy WD Red Pro NAS HDDs at Newegg. That’s a retail outlet.

NewEgg has long sold Red and Purple disks. I was turned off on them back when undisclosed shingled disks were foisted on small NAS users. Lots of annoyed NAS uses.

Now I use server disks which are more documented to the roles they support such as 24/7/52 operation etc.

Thank you to everyone who tried to help, except Kriakos-GR who reported my thank you message above in reply to fzabkar and my reply about where I bought the hard disk. As a result of these two reports the system automatically blocked me and prevented me from posting messages over the weekend. I hope the administrators will deal appropriately with such toxic, arrogant members who project their personal problems on such platforms.
