WD2Go On Android won't stream the mp3 on MyBook Live

Hi All,

I installed WD2go on Android ( Samsung Notes and Galaxy Tab 8.9" ) both failed to play the mp3 that store in mybooklive.

I successfully connect remotely, but when I click the mp3 file the following happen :

  1. Samsung notes - A player screen show up but nothing happen, click the “play” button on the player won’t start the music as well.

  2. Galaxy Tab - Totally blank screen show up.

But I try on the ipad 2 and iphone, the mp3 playing fine on it.

Any help will be appreciate.

Are you using the same media player on both Android devices? Since you can access the files with WD2Go, and can play them back from your IOS devices, you may try installing another media player for Android to compare results. you

Had the same problem. It was solved after I installed WD2Go Pro. Probably has to do with the fact that the free version does not support other music players. The free version worked allright on my android phone.
