I had disconnected the WD external hard disk without ejecting. Now when I try to unlock the hard disk with WD Unlocker, it does not unlock. Kindly provide a solution.

It is possible it does unlock but the partition is corrupted.
I recommend you try formatting the drive so you can use it again. Formatting the drive will delete all data stored in it so if you want to recover the data try a data recovery software before formatting.
My problem is solved. I restarted the PC and the Disk Unlocker worked. I think the PC hanged. Thank you.

Where do I get a disk unlocker? I think that is what my passport needs. Can’t do anything with it. And there is no “format” choice,.
