Hi,

can i use a security wd software installed on Pc & Mac on the same hard drive.

I want use the hard drive both on Mac & Pc and i want to use security software.

Hi ronin69,

There is no need to install WD Security on both, Windows OS and macOS. After protecting the hard drive with WD Security, it will ask for password each time when you connect this hard drive on computer either it would be Windows or macOS.
