Encrypt / Password protect harddrive for use on both windows and mac

Hi
WIth GDPR coming soon I need to protect data on my hard drive. I currently use it on both a MAC and WINDOWS laptop. How can i either encrypt or password protect it?

You can download the WD Security from the link given below and set the password on the drive. (WD Drive should be compatible with the WD Security).
