I’m using 4 4TB WD Red drives in a QNap NAS. I’m realizing I better get some backup drive(s) for eventualities. Without consideration for the price differences will the Red and Red-Pro devices live happily together ?

I have not tried this yet, i wouldn’t be able to say if they can work together or not, however lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.
I would not mix the drives. But i dont believe there will be any problem. So just try it. Do you need the red pro? If you are buying red pro to use with red; red pro output will automaticaly match red drives ( slower ones)
