WD Play. Can I stream files from my HD connected to Router
I can do this with my WD Live no problem, but it doesnt come up for WD Play.
Has anyone got this working or does it not have that option.

this has been asked so many times … i don’t even own a WDTV Play, and know the answer 
The WDTV Play Does Not Support (Network Shares)
The WDTV Play only supports DLNA Media Streaming (Media Shares)
that’s the limitation you get with a cheaper device.
