WD Photos 1.1

I have installed  v1.1 on my iphone 4, One issue I have i that I deleted one of the directory in my “Shared Pictures” directory (My Book World Edition 1) , but it still shows up when I tried to access using WD Photos. I understand it will take a while for My Book to generate thumbnails etc… but I have been waiting for over a week but the directory still shows up when trying to access using WD photos on my iphone . When going direct to my book via internal network , you cannot find such directory. The funny thing being I was at least expect a “File not found” when trying to access those pics, but no, the thumbnails are all there. I tried 1. resetting and restart mionet 2. rebooting My Book 3. reinstall apps on my iphone 4. Went into settings for WD Photos  and force it to clear cache… but after each of the above, the “phantom” directory still shows.

Any idea anywone

Thanks

Photos should transcode about 1 every 30 seconds. So a week is way too long. If you add a new photo, do you see that one? One way to tell if the database is updating is to look inside your Public/.transcodingdb folder. If there’s been changes to the database, and you then access the photos from your iPhone you’ll see a new zip file show up in this folder. (Clearing cache on iPhone will force it to get a new database right away instead of it doing it in the background).

If you go to your NAS home page, and stop/start mionet, it should kill and restart the transcoder. Restarting your NAS should have done the same thing but worth trying.

Also, do give their customer support a call - if it’s still acting up.
