PLEASE HELP!!!
trying to use wd photo app but keep getting “first time setup” followed by “no photos found”
i have been able to upload a photo using the app - can find it using wd 2 go.
i have the iphone app and 2TB my book live.

Silly question, but where are you putting the photos? Are you putting them in /Public/Shared Photos?
Also, I have a question for you:

I think a lot of people would love to know how? I haven’t been able to figure out that myself. 
If you’re in WD photos (not WD2Go), the first page when you open the app should have an icon in the upper Right that is a camera and an arrow pointing up (for uploading). Tap that icon, and it will ask if you want to take a photo or choose one from the library. You just select the ones you want to upload and hit “upload” in the lower right.
FWIW, I haven’t been able to get videos uploaded- only photos. The first time you do this, it creates a directory called, “XYZ’s iphone” (assuming you’re using an iphone).
