I’ve had this HD for several years and last night I restarted my computer and it won’t show up on my desktop. I tried on another laptop and it won’t show up on that one either. I tried different USB ports and USB cords and it still won’t show up. It’s not appearing under Disk Utilities either.

If the drive is not showing on disk management it means the drive is not powering on. If you already replaced the USB cable and also tried on another computer and still not working then I believe its time to get the drive replaced.
If the drive is still under warranty I recommend you contact WD Support.
