WD My Passport Ultra 1TB is not showing in Windows Explorer Windows XP 64bit

My Passport is showing in the Computer Manager, but not in the Windows Explorer. Choice of partitioning in the Computer Manager is NTFS only. So, repartition does not help.

It could be a driver issue, since I did not update drivers for some years. Any source for Windows XP driver updates? It is no longer supported by Microsoft or Dell. DriverUpdate.net?

Or I only have USB 2.0 and not 3.0, I dont know. Any way to update or reformat?

Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Can you update to Windows 10? Also, are you using WD Smartware? Both are really your best options.

Have tried connecting the Passport to another computer to see if it shows up there?
