WD My Passport DriveUnlock needs to be updated

I had this drive for a good 14 years now and haven’t opened it for a while.
I plugged it in to my Macbook and it can recognise the WD Unlocker and Drive Unlock but if I try to unlock it it’s asking for me to update the DriveUnlock as it is not working with the current version of macOS

On the other forums it says i need to download WD Discovery which I did and successfully installed, but it does nothing for me. On the storage tab of WD Discovery it says there is no USB connected.

Can you guys help me figure out how to proceed from here?
