i just bought wd my cloud pr4100 (diskless) model , is anyone can confirm that seagate ST16000NE000 (16TB) can support on this cloud as I am unable to find answer.
also confirm that ex4100 also supports samba integration and is PR4100 also support that same features as EX4100 ?
ST16000NE000 drives are compatible, but not mentioned.
from what I can tell, the PR4100 is an upgrade from the EX4100
how sure you are about the compatibility. because its officially not mentioned there.
My PR4100 (running OS5) is a home to 3 ST14000NE0008 drives in a RAID 0 array.
the drives work well, and yes, they are also not mentioned in the compatibilty list for the PR4100, but they are compatible
any authentic or WD representative may confirm that Seagate S16000NE000 will work on my cloud PR4100 ??
