Hi all
just purchased the new 3tb My Book Studio but i am having a problem with Formatting.
Everytime i plug in the HD via firewire it comes up as a folder not a HD on my desktop, plus when i open disk utility
it’s not there so i cannot format.
i’m running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on MBP
any info would be fantastic

Sorted it :smileyvery-happy:
used the USB 2 connection came up as MY BOOK HD, reformatted
now works as a 3TB HD via firewire woo hoo!
