WD Live TV + My Book Live reading issues

Hi,

Since I moved and changed up the network configuration I am unable to open a connection from my WD Live TV to my My Book Live using  Network Share. The only way I can see the files is using the  Twonky ** Media via  Media Library** which doesn’t support the loading of Subtitles.

The strange part is all PC’s in the same network are able to browse the folders on the  My Book Live using the  Network Share.

I’m not sure if it has to do with the  MBL  or the  WDL TV , does anyone have experience with this issue?

Network setup (wired):

PC -- Router (Switch) -- Modem / Router -- Router (Switch) -- WDL TV | | MBL

The line drawing you’re showing inidcates there’s actually three routers involved?   Is that correct??

Yes that’s true.

It’s because the wifi doesn’t cover all rooms in my house.

Also the middle Router / Modem is the DHCP server the other routers are just switches because I didn’t put the UTP cable in the WAN port but in a LAN port.

Have you confirmed that the MBL and the WD TV are set to the same WORKGROUP name?

I’m not sure, I didn’t know you could also set a WORKGROUP on the WD TV device.

I will check later today when I’m back home.
