My WD Elements was working fine until yesterday. Now my windows 10 laptop nor my Windows 7 desktop can access the drive, it doesn’t show up in WD Drive Utilities. This has two years worth of work on it!! My husband attached it to his Ubuntu machine and it recognized it, but said nothing was on there. When I restart my computers it says that drive is not accessible and that it needs to be formatted. If I format it then I lose everything, correct?
