So today i bought a new macbook pro with osx el capitan.
I’ve been transfering files from my old macbook pro (mid 2010, osx yosemite) to my WD elements (bought yesterday).
Once that was done i’ve connected the external hd to my new macbook pro, it doesn’t recognize the external harddrive, the usb hub doesnt recognize it.
Ive checked preferences, even with apple support, they could not help me with the issue i’m having.
I have formatted the external harddrive multiple times, nothing seems to help me

Also, are you able to test the unit on a different computer?
