WD Elements 3TB will only transfer < 30Mbs

Hi. I wonder if you can help me out. My WD Elements 3TB will not get close to 3.0 speeds. I was transferring from an internal SSD and it was getting less than 30 Mbs. I had it in a USB 3.0 powered hub, and directly connected to my PC. My motherboard is an Asrock Z77 Extreme running the most up to date version of Windows 10 and the most up to date drivers. I am not overclocking.

Any ideas?

How are you testing these speeds? Simple file copies? How fast is it when you’re copying LARGE files? (Like several gigabytes).

Thanks for the reply. I tested it with several 1GB files in a row, and a single 75GB file both to and from a SSD.
