Why do you want a 7200 RPM HDD to run slower than it was designed for ?
I can only really think of heat being the only reason … and if that’s the case, you should have bought a 1TB SSD
I want understand and test with “old” chipsets.
Is or not possible configure to run in less RPM speed or other setting with same result (spread spectrum jumper) ?
