WD Blue 4 TB and 2TB not powering up

I just built a new desk top PC and I installed 2 WD Blue 2TB and 1 WD Blue 4TB drive in the system and I won’t power up and can’t be seen in the BIOS. I also installed a CD drive which get power and can be seen in the BIOS and I have tried connecting the drive to that power cable but still don’t seem to be getting power any help determining what the problem could be? I’m sure I could not have gotten 3 bad drives from BestBuy all on the same day. Thanks for any help I can get.

your BIOS supports UEFI doesn’t it ?

yes, the MB for my new build is the MSI Z270 Pro Carbon and I just looked in the BIOS and every is set the way it was when I installed the board.

If you have a working PC you can connect the drive to a USB cable to make sure they’ll spin up. Or remove the cables from the CD/DVD drive and see if the drives will work on them. It sounds like the cable from the power supply might not be fully connected or perhaps some BIOS setting for those SATA ports might need to be turned on?
