My External Hard Disk
Western Digital WD 2TB My Passport black HDD purchased in June 2020 is not responding.
Getting Following Message on My Laptop

Location is not available

H is not accessible

The Parameter is incorrect

I have saved my important photos on this harddisk, it’s not even six-month from the date of purchase and I’m in very bad situation
Please help me to recover my data and replace the Hardware if it’s defective!

“The Parameter is incorrect” is one of the common issue related to external drives which may lead to 2 major issues:

i) Cannot Copy Files
ii) Drive becomes inaccessible

Hi,

I would suggest you to raise drive replacement request to WD. Their is no point to keep defective drive.
