So I want to buy some new HDDs 12TB or more. I have the my cloud mirror 4Tb(two 2TbHDD). Its on the format of using mix parts on each. Forgot the number. I also have a docking station with a 2Tb HDD on it. And they are all filled so now I need a bigger drive. If I were to buy the drives, than transfer the data from the drives in my cloud to one of the new ones could I than put it in the my cloud. I really want to have my stuff backed up(mirrored) so that I never loose my data . Could I just buy two new drives or do I need to buy 3. How would I change my cloud drives to new ones without loosing data?

I have never tried upgrading the drives on a My Cloud Mirror since this is not supported. this doesn’t mean it is not possible, but it is not guaranteed that it will work correctly. Maybe another user has tried this before and can share some experience with us.
