Using Mycloud as the external hardrive for XBox One?

I am looking for an external Harddrive to use with my XBOX ONE to install the games on.

but would also like to have it double as a cloud device I can access via wireless or wired home network directly.

Will the My Cloud work for these purposes?

I believe the Xbox does not allow to install the games on a Cloud drive. I recommend you verify this information with Xbox Support.

No, the XBOX requires a USB HDD, not networked cloud HDD with Linux OS.
