I have Windows 7 Pro, bought a Passport Ultra, which gets an upgrade to Pro included with purchase of the drive. When I installed the software on the drive, Smartware version 2.4.12 which is basic, not Pro that loaded. The software requires an activation code. How do I get my code? Am I not seeing an upgrade location other than the upper right corner of screen.

I have got exactly the same problem - bought my passport ultra with smartware pro version included, but I am unable to activate it to Pro version - no pop up windows to register an email address to receive activation codes. Have already contacted support, opened a case but got no response.
the same with WD My Cloud… Solution will be appreciated.
