I have a MyCloud mirror Gen 2 with 2 by 4tb drives. I recently had to replaced drive 1. Since doing this I have not been able to establish a Raid 1 mirror set up. The only setup that seems to be functional is JBOD. I have done a system restore but a full restore does not appear to work. When I try to setup Raid configurations other than JBOD the setup progresses to the point of formatting the drives and then fails with an error code (unfortunately I have not recorded the error code) and goes to hibernation mode. I can the resetup as JBOD. Any thoughts on how to set up mirror (Raid 1) would be appreciated.
Update:
Further work entailed doing a full factory restore. This enabled the the raid 1 configuration to be setup. It is unclear to me why this was required but thankfully problem solved.
