I have a My Cloud Home Duo and am using it to make the family photos available to all family members. Many of the photos are old and I edit and enhance them and save them in the .TIFF format. This device cannot read the extended extension of .TIFF. I did find if I drop the last F in .TIFF they display properly. I have hundreds of photos that I would need to change the extension. I did read up on this and understand older systems cannot read file names with extensions over 3 positions. My question… is the software, on this drive going to be updated to read the extended extensions on file names? OR is there a setting already in place that I need to set?
