I would like to know how can you protect wd mycoud storage using Two factor authentication to login for each user ?
During first installation of My Cloud, you need to enter OTP received and verify an email address. This is a two way authentication to protect sign in process.
2FA shall be required EVERYTIME you access the service externally (at least).
With biometric signin 2FA is redundant and a pain in the neck. My fingerprint/ retinal scan is more than enough to secure mycloud. I want to remove it. Funny it is not required on my desktop and it does not have biometrics. Where is the logic there?
