Does anyone know the best method for tranfering data between or from a Seagate GoFlex Home Network Storage Device to MY Book LIve, when they are both on the same network?
Don’t know anything about the other device, however, whatever you decide, try to avoid having all info copy via:
NAS->PC->NAS.
Some ideas I can think of, then you decide:

FTP from one to the other via CLI

And if secure copy is a concern:
