I have just bought the my home cloud 4TB. It has synced up with my PC. However, it is constantly checking and updating my files as a sync should. the only problem I have is that I have an internet phone line and this is useless when the Mycloud home is in sync. Can I temporarily disable the mycloud and then re-connect after. in oterh words is there a disable and the enable button.
you could turn it off or disconnect it from the network.
Thanks…but how? do I physically switch it off or can i turn it off in settings?
You can “Unsync” from the My Cloud Home, but Sync Resume or Resume Sync of an existing Sync’d folder is not supported. Clicking “Sync to My Cloud” again on the previous folder will create a duplicate folder.
