Temperature Monitor & Related Fan Speed

I am running a G-Speed Studio R with 12GB capacity configured for RAID-5
My OS is MacOS Mojave 10.14.4

What is continuing to be an issue for me is a lack of active control for the fans on the unit. As you can see from the included snapshot, the enclosure is running below the high temp threshold but yet is continuing to run the fans at full speed.

I would be interested to know if this is a firmware issue or what can be done to correctly attenuate the fans and reduce the ambient noise.

That is actually about half the speed the fans can run. No cause for concern at that rate at all.

You can check for software/firmware updates within the software at any time however. It is in the menu option for G-Speed Software Utility.

Dude, I’m in the same boat. This thing is crazy loud! I’ve got a 48TB Shuttle and it’s running at 2,100RPMs doing nothing. What is the deal? Seriously considering returning this thing.
