Support for .flv files

It would be great if I can read .flv files on my WD TV Live Media Player. What a disappointment !! because the french channel Arte podcasts some of their emissions under this format, and I cannot read my downloaded videos from Arte on my WD TV Live.

Please !!..  Enhance the firmware so that this format is able to be read !!

It would not be so complicated, wouldn’t it ??

Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in our Ideas Lab. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn’t another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.

I read in this post that playing FLV is an idea?

Does WD really need an idea of ours to plan to play FLV?

A supplication, perhaps, should be better?

They take into account user’s requests when they plan what they are going to do, like any company.

Flash video is not something a lot of folks even care about (just ask the Apple community :>)
