Cannot play flv files after update to 1.15.10

Cannot play flv files after update to 1.15.10.  All I get is the spinning arrow for about 10 seconds and then returns me back to the menu.  When I downgrade to firmware 1.13.18. everything works fine and plays all the flv files.  When I upgrade the firmware to the newest 1.15.10 or to 1.14.09 it doesn’t play any of the flv files.  Very frustrating.  Any suggestions beside going back to v 1.13.18?  Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue. Sence installing 1.15.10 I can not play any of my media files, Netflix and that stuff still works but all I get is that spinning arrow.

Can you give me instruction on installing a previous version?, I have tried to but the player will not reconize the files on the USB stick. Thinking I must be missing something.

Thanks

finally got it to roll back but after trying 4 file it stopped again.

any ideas are welcome

Hi Stewy98.  Just follow the directions on the following link.  You’ll have to revert back to the firmware 1.13.18 for the .flv videos to work.

Hope this helps.

Sort of.

FLV is just a container.  The contents of that container must also be supported.

According to the specs, FLV is only supported with AVC video and AAC or MP3 audio codecs.

Thanks Tony, but where can I see that infomation for each FLV file? Is there a field/column in Windows explorer that will help sort the file that can be played? Thanks.
