Still Cannot Watch iview!

I am still waiting for a Firmware Update to allow me to watch ANYTHING on iview.  I can log in, I can choose what I want to watch, it displays everything as normal, I can go so far as to open to a full screen.  BUT that is where it goes, I just keep getting the little purple wheel circling advising me it is either downloading or buffering.  I waited for 2 hours one day thinking that it was my machine. I have checked my connection {no problem}, I have Signed Up to Netflix and can watch movies and series with no problen.  But when I manually checked for a Firmware Update, it told me toTry Again Later as there was a problem with the connection!  Can you advise me as to the problem.  I was told that the problem was widespread and a fix was on it’s way by December 2014.  Well it’s now March 2015 and I have received no updates what-so-ever!

If you have Netflix … then you have a SMP (WDTV Live Streaming Media Player)

The 2014 WDTV Media Player does NOT have Netflix  (but at least we have ABC iView)

I am still non the wiser:confounded:According to my Media Player I have Firmware 2.02.32 and have not had iview or a Firmware Update since it automatically updated itself sometime late 2014.

How do I Manually update to 1.02.17? And will this fix my iview problem?

Please HELP me!

2.02.32 is for the “WDTV Live Streaming Media Player.”

There’s no way it “automatically updated.”   These devices have never had that capability.   Firmware Updates are always prompted and the user must interact with it to initiate the update.
