I have a fair few Ext WD drives 2, 4, & 6TB drives and a few weeks ago i had a clear out and ut the damm PSU’s in the box, now it comes to powering them up again i have no idea what PSU goes with what drives, any chance someone can shed some light on this issue for me and help me out a bit?

capacity isn’t that critical … i have 1TB, 2TB, 3TB and 4TB WD HDD’s (a mixture of WD Elements and WD My Books)
They all use the same rating power supply. (12 Volts, 1.5 Amps,18 Watts) and i have mixed them around on occasion without any adverse effects.
Thanks for the reply JoeySmyth this is a perfect answer like you i have a mix of WD Elements and WD My Books so running the same PSU is very handy, many tansk for the link as well
