Some MKV audio files won't play

I have a WD TV LIVE HD media player. Most MKV files will play video and sound. A recent file I downloaded will only play the video, no audio. The file does work fine on the computer.

Does my media playing need updating, is there any way to play them without having to convert all the files.

Hello,

The audio codec of this MKV file should play without any issues so check if other files that you can play from this WD TV Media Player have the same audio codec.

If so, transfer the file to a USB flash drive and try to play it from the media player.

I have tried it on a few different thumb drives and hard drives, below is a mkv file that does play on my media player. Not sure what the difference is-
