Smartware Not Functioning since update

I had WD Smartware for a long time and was very happy with it. I have a 500 GB, 2 x 1 TB and a 2 TB, all WD products. About a month ago I made the mistake of accepting the WD update.
Prior to the update, I could go to SmartWare and the window would open showing all my devices and manage the backup for the files I wanted to back up and also see what was being stored on the drives. I could format the drives, check the drives and all kinds of good things.
Since the update, Smartware does not open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the window no longer opens.
I have looked online attempting to find the previous software but cannot locate it.
