hi everyone . For some reason my WD Elements 2tb hard disk isnt working properly. The read and write speed is very very slow (around 200 KB/s). I dont know what happenned. I updated the firmware but nothing changed. I am able to see the files and the folders but when i try to open or copy paste them it takes a lot of time and hangs. Please help me with this , i have around 800GB of data in that.
Hi, have you tried running Windows utility to check the drive? You can also run WD DLG to check if the drive have any issues, because what you explaining seems either partition corruption or the drive is failing.
