Hey everyone,

my Thunderbolt Duo 6TB in RAID-1 configuration is getting very slow and I don’t know why. It is writing data under a 100 MB a second and this is really not the reason why I spend much money on a Thunderbolt device. I reset my nvram of the mac and I also reset the SMC. But nothing really happens. Did you have any idea why or what I can do?

Try replacing your unit’s Thunderbolt cable, then proceed to run a diagnostic test using WD Drive Utilities for Mac.

A cable is working or not, right? I’m a little bit afraid of spending 50$ for a cable without any effect. WD Drive Utilities said that everything is okay :frowning:
