I have two of these device with this firmware
MyBookLiveDuo 02.43.10-048 : Core F/W

They fail every time for 1 1/2yrs of trying now. You can factory reset these till you die and get no where. Please simply reply that this function was never meant to work and I can move on.

It runs for about 5 hrs then just quits and basically does nothing more than make a few folders on the destination drive.

I have a MBLD for 5 years now. Runs perfectly. Never had any problems.

You might check the operating temps of the unit. It’s very easy to overheat the CPU by not having the unit in a very open location. I got around this problem by putting a 80mm fan underneath it.

Thanks for the reply. I should clarify you need two of them to use the safepoint feature that does not work. I will admit i did not try and safepoint to a USB but a simple web search shows how useless that would be. I have switched to freefilesync at least it works.

Did you install freefilesync on two MBLD co-located?

Yes i am now using freefilesync but that requires a computer to schedule it. The safepoint is ROM based on the drives so no computer needed. If only it worked
