Running command on startup

I got syncthing (a sync client that is linux friendly, unlike the provided one) to work on My Cloud with firmware 2.11.140. The only problem I have is that I don’t know how to get it to run on startup. Is there a way to accomplish so?

I know this kind of app is not supported, but since no sync client exist for linux, I had no choice.

Thanks!

One way to run commands at startup with v4.x version single bay My Cloud’s is to put the command in the /etc/rc2.d/S98user-start file. Unknown if v2.x version single bay My Cloud’s have the same user start file. If it does give it a try.

No it does not. It does not even have the init.d structure.
